Fifty Shade singles rank: ONTD Original

Much trash talk has been donde about both the Fifty Shades book and film trilogy, but as many othe franchises, it's safe to say its soundtracks have yielded some serious bops.
Now that the franchise is over, here is a list from all the singles released off each film's OST according to me and maybe you.

8. Julia Michaels — Heaven

Julia had tough competition and this song off Fifty Shades Freed just doesn't feel as big as other contenders. The song was the third single off the soundtrack and is one of two songs the singer contributed to the album.

7. Halsey — Not Afraid Anymore

Now I love Halsey; her two studio albums have slayed my emo self, but this track feels quite repetitive. This was the second single off Fifty Shades Darker and is one of only two singles that didn't get a video. Thank God for that?

6. Hailee Steinfeld x Bloodpop — Capital Letters

Some may argue with this track being higher than any, but it's a cute bop. Second single off the third installment, it also has an equally cute music video.

5. Beyoncé — Crazy In Love (2015 Remix)

This is a bop on its own original version, and although this version suits the film perfectly, it does not feel as big as the lead singles. This was released as the third single off Fifty Shades of Grey and no music video was shot for it.

4. Rita Ora Liam Payne — For You

I would have put this song higher on the list, but I don't want you to murder me. It's still fairly high and above Beyoncé, the nerve. This is the lead single off Fifty Shades Freed and while Justin Bieber was supposed to be the male singer here, it grows on you as you continue to listen to it, which you probably be forced to anyway so let's start that now.

3. Taylor Swift & Zayn — I Don't Wanna Live Forever

This is probably both of these performers' last best single to date, and quite succesful as well. It was released as the lead single of the franchise's second installment and it had a steamy video, I guess?

2. The Weeknd — Earned It

This is one of the franchise's most successful singles ever, it was nominated for an Oscar and won a Grammy, both accomplishments have never been replicated by any other single. This was the lead single off Fifty Shades of Grey and served as The Weeknd's first real foray into mainstream success.

1. Ellie Goulding — Love Me Like You Do

Haters will say it's undeserving, but this is just too cute and catchy. Serving as the first film's second single, it was Ellie's second number one in the UK and matching peak in the Hot 100 after Lights peaked at number 2, it also marked her first Grammy nomination/performance.
