13. Call me by Your Name and the Satan Shoes
A bunch of fretful parents had a meltdown over Lil Nas X's Satan sneakers—and some random governor even tweeted that we are "in a fight for the soul of our nation," lol.
12. Friends reunited.
Sure, Matthew Perry looked a bit weird and you felt old as shit, but it was pretty nice seeing them back together. Also, the reveal of Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer kept us talking for a while.
11. Munn in the Oven
She planned it and you know it. Let's hope you can munnifest good stuff in your life for 2022, ONTD!
10. Meghan and Harry's interview
You guys, the royals are racist can you believe it?! *ThisIsBrandNewInformation.gif* At least the Oprah memes were nice.
9. The White Lotus and it's poop.
Sure, it was fake but the world collectively gasp when HBO aired Armand live pooping on a suitcase.
8. Bathgate
So, some celebs like Toothy Tile and Kristen Bell think they don't need to bath that often. and somehow Hollywood agrees, that leads into ONTD's conspiracy theory about the government setting up our minds for the future war on water.
7. Wandavision brings the MCU to our living rooms.
With a raging pandemic, and no vaccine on sight, Wandavision became AN EVENT and was truly a breath of fresh air, after almost a year with no Marvel content. It also almost broke the internet every friday.
6. Bennifer 2.0
Rodrigo left big shoes to fill and the nostalgia game was strong in this one.
5. Squid Game takes over the world.
Everyone and their mothers tried to break their goddamn cookies with a needle.
4. Everyone hates Chris Pratt
Not everything was bad. In 2021 the world collectively joined forces to hate Chris Pratt -as god commanded it- after he chose to became Garfield AND Mario.
3. Britney is free.
It only took 15 years, 10 documentaries, a shitload of apologies, and fans not giving up on her to set her free.
2. Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire and Charlie Cox appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home
You know what happened, you know who appeared, you enjoyed it and screamed at the theatre too. If anything, it helped turn 2021 into the year of the the AndrewGarfieldnaissance.
