A-list Bollywood movie star and leading lady Katrina Kaif got married in an extremely lavish wedding to Bollywood actor Vickey Kaushal just a week ago. Katrina has always claimed to be half-indian and half-British. Saying she has a Kashmiri-Indian father named Mohammed Kaif. However the maker of Boom Ayesha has admitted an interview, that the identity and name "Katrina Kaif" was made up by herself and her husband to make Katrina relatable and palatable for Indian audiences:
"She had an English surname, which was not easy to pronounce. She is not Katrina Kaif originally. She is Katrina Turquotte. We wanted to give her a surname which would be accepted by the Indian audience. First we thought of naming her Katrina Kazi, but then we thought Kazi would have a religious overtone. So we thought of Kaif".
When asked whether its true that Katrina's father is Kashmiri, Ayesha simply said:
"If that's what she says, you have to believe her. Her name on her passport that time was Katrina Turquotte".
Another possibly messed up thing about her first movie is that it is believed that a very young 18-19 year old Katrina might have been coerced into sleeping with her older late 40s much more established costar of the movie. Actor Gulshan Grover gave an interview saying how he and Katrina rehearsed 2 hours for the kissing scenes of the movie:
The identity of Katrina's father
As said before, Katrina claims to be indian with a Kashmiri father named Mohammed Kaif but that is very likely to be false. The proof seems to point that Katrina is a fully white woman and her real father is a man named Ronald Turquotte. There are family pictures on the internet with Katrina, her mom, Ronald and Katrina's siblings as well as Facebook screenshots of Katrina's siblings calling Ronald "dad".

Salman Khan (2001-2008)
Katrina starting dating Bollywood superstar Salman Khan around 2001-2002 when she was just 17 years old and Salman was 36-37. Looking back, it was clearly a predatory and weird relationship. A young still a teenager girl started her career in a new country dating a massive powerful superstar in his mid-late 30s but no one raised eyebrows at the relationship at the time.

In one of the biggest Bollywood scandals of the 2000s, Katrina started a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor around 2009. The relationsip started with Ranbir cheating on actress and superstar Deepika Padukone with Katrina.
