Since people were asking for it in one of the last posts, I thought I would make a post about 5h drama. Now with 5h getting their first top 5 hit and Work from Home being their second song not far from being triple platinum you would think that 5h would be happier than ever. Unfortunately that's not happening so here's a deeper look into their drama the past year.
A brief history
Other than the camren drama which I will explain briefly later in tthe post, 5h were a happy group. They all got along and were very cute together and that included camila. Camila and Dinah had a friendship that most fans believed would last forever. They first got close in 2013 after 5h reunited after x factor ended where they shared an apartment with Ally. Lauren and Normani shared a different apartment together. Camila and Dinah spent most of their time together. They made plans to live together after 5h and called each other best friends all the time.
A lot of people think normani and dinah are the closest but they never claimed that. Through the years, they always said they were closer to other people in the group but normani and Dinah's friendship has been consistent since the x factor. They call each other family and have a lot in common. Camila and Normani seemed to love being around each other even though they were polar opposites. Camila helped normani from being as shy as she was and people liked the friendship because they were really affectionate. Camila, Dinah and Normani's friendship called by 5h fans as "the clique" were a constant thing for years. Below are gifs of them from May 7, 2015.
Taylor Swift birthday party drama
On March 3rd, 2015, Camila turned 18. 5h have a day off during their tour but Camila tells the other girls that she's spending time with her family. They come on the next day and see pictures of her with Taylor and a bunch of other celebs. Some people blamed Taylor swift but camila said in a interview HERE that Taylor heard she wasn't doing anything and decided to invite her so she could do something for her birthday. Anyone that's not a total moron can understand that there would be no way that Taylor would be able to invite all those celebs over on such short notice and have them be available. The more likely situation is Taylor planned a party for camila, told her in advance and camila didn't want the girls to know so she told them she was spending time with her family.
5H's management eventually banned interviewers from asking about the birthday party and it honestly seemed to only be a sore spot between the girls when it was brought up. The gifs I posted above are from May which was 2 months after and they were still great friends but since 5h were on tour at the time below are pictures/gifs of normani and camila being affectionate 2 weeks after her bday In March and there were more.
I know what you did last Summer and Shawn Mendes drama
In about mid June 2015, fans noticed something was off with Camila and Dinah. It was like a week or two with no moments from them which was weird since they were always glued together. On Dinah's bday, Camila alluded to them having problems in her long bday post to her and dinah seemed like she didn't want to respond thank you to her at all. In the summer there were rumors going around the twitter fandom about camila doing a solo song with shawn mendes and her not telling the other girls was the cause of the 5h tension. The summer was filled with indirects from members and Camila being isolated. 5h went to Europe in November 2015 and after months of pettiness, they seemed to be finally getting back to being good. Unfortunately the rumors about the song were true and things went back to the way they were. Camila was able to perform at places 5h never did because Shawn is on a better label than 5h. Camila's parents added to the drama indirecting about Karma and basically calling the other girls "mediocre".
Hacked messages
5h have crazy obsessive fans so it's not shocking that they hacked them. Camila was the main focus of their attack. The hacked messages revealed that camila said racist things about all of them and thinks she's miles better than them. It also revealed that she has been plotting to go solo for a while. Texts between her and her solo manager were revealed as well as solo music she recorded. There were also messages of her being sexual with Michael Clifford from 5sos and unseen pictures of them together. Only one teen magazine asked about the hack and of course the response was "no comment" 5h's team as well as camila's solo manager tried hard to remove a lot of the hacked stuff from offline. There were several posts on ONTD about this. Just check the 5h tag!
5h's Current status
Normani, Dinah, Lauren and Ally are very close. They spend a lot of their time free together. Camila is isolated and now it's pretty obvious that she's doing herself. There's video of 5h at the RDMA's singing along to her song with Shawn Mendes HERE and recently Normani asked Camila for a hug on stage. A few days ago a fan asked for a group hug in her meet and greet and camila didn't even want to hug them. On 4th of July when 5h, their families and team were enjoying the holiday, she posted on snapchat about recording music in the bathroom alone. She even scoots her chair away from them during soundcheck. Camila's mother have told fans that the girls were mistreating before so I'm sure even though the girls aren't mad at her anymore, she's going to use these situations where she's purposely isolating herself to add to her victim narrative when the group breaks up. "It was 4 against 1!!" I see that people on here are already falling for it so it's a great strategy.
5h parents are extremely messy and continue to make things worse. Lauren's mother indirected camila the day 5h's album was released because camila congratulated Ariana grande and didn't tweet about their album. Then after the MMVA's Lauren's mom @ed her solo manager when he implied that camila one the most awards of the night. Lauren's mom has since tweeted and replied on IG and twitter about solo Lauren. It's obvious she's fed up with the sitution. Below is the deleted tweet she tweeted to camila's solo manager roger gold.

I said I would briefly explain this but I could talk forever about how insane their stans are. Camren is camila and lauren's ship name and basically 5h's larry. Camila and Lauren were very cute during x factor but literally 6 months later in may 2013, the ship was dead. Lauren has had many outbursts on social media about the ship. Before she use to focus on her sexuality with saying she was straight now she's just denying the ship. During the Work from Home promo tour a few months ago lauren brought it up saying "that she asked people nicely to stop and then tried aggressively but it's best to stop bringing attention to it" Literally a week after saying that she was on IG replying to a camren shipper saying "You people are so delusional" and blocking them. After 4 years I accepted that lauren wll never be over it and will always hate the ship and go out of her way to deny any romantic involvement with camila. I think it has to do more with camren shippers harassing her about being gay when she was very young and less about camila.
Also one of the gifs you guys posted to make it seem like the other girls were being shady to camila was a gif that a camren shipper made to make it seem like ally and normani ship them. It had nothing to do with shadiness. Speaking of gifs, the one with all of them playing hand games with camila playing alone was purposely filmed like that to be funny.
